Yes, I'm a little behind. Dustin's birthday was two days ago (Feb. 2) - guess we just had such a fun day on his Birthday I didn't get time to post. And then I had to spend all day yesterday catching up on school work. Anyhow, as I mentioned his birthday was two days ago. The kids have been so excited over all the birthdays we have going on, and I'm already sick of making cakes (two more to go). :) We spent the whole day going to Sportsman's Warehouse, and other places that D wanted to go, but we still had a good time. I think D enjoyed his B-day, so to my Dustin I love you, I'm thankful for all that you do for us, another year down, many more to go! You're the best, and after these few years we've been together - you still make me laugh and I still feel excited to see you walk in the door, so there must be something about ya guy!! Love you.

And my lover butt started labs for the Nursing Program, so he gets to wear these cute blue scrubs. I'm so proud of your hard work and effort Dustin - we're on our way!!!

Porter's Big Day
Today is my baby boy's 1st Birthday!! I love this guy! He has been so much fun in our family. He has such a peaceful, sweetness to him, everyone can feel it when they are around him and mention it to us, often. He loves to be held, to be sung to, he loves his brother and sister to play with him and make him laugh. He is not a picky eater, which I love because it's impossible to get my other two to eat anything. I am so thankful he is part of our family and here with us. He gives the sweetest looks and the most fulfilling glances of, "I love you, mom." He makes me smile, tear up at the looks he gives me, laugh, love and feel so thankful that we are a family forever. I love you my little Porter Pounder, Happy Birthday, baby boy!!

My sister-in-law, Ashley made all three of my kids beanies (sp?) and scarves for their B-days. This is Porter's - they are way cute. Porter pulled his hat off before the camera would snap. Ash did a great job!!

New Do's and stuff . . .
So, it's been a while - I don't feel like catching up right now, so just giving the latest. We got some new do's and wanted to share the pics. Mason LOVES his and always wants to spike it up himself, or get it spiked up. He's a funny kid. Everyone thinks it's great and that it fits his personality so well. Either that or enhances his personality. He's a wild one, but I love him to death. Charly begged for a hair cut. So I took her in - I let her pick everything she wanted - it's not too terribly different, but it's the first time she's had bangs, except for when her hair was growing in when she was a baby.

And to wrap it up, some of my kids finest sleeping moments. Porter does not like to be left alone to sleep. He wants to be held, but I'm trying to break him of that habit - this is how I found him after he whined and whimpered for a few minutes.
Porter was being extremely fussy on New Years Eve, we tried everything and could not calm him down. We reverted to a bath and he fell asleep on Dustin's arm.
Mason will basically crash anywhere, if he's tired enough. We were busy doing things in the house, cooking, cleaning, what have you and found Mason like this - thankfully his little glass there was only water.
And this is the best, we put the kids to bed the other night and a little while later went in to check on them and found Charly just like this:
It was not staged or planned, she is really asleep like this. SO CUTE - funny little kids. It would be so interesting to know their thought processes some times.

Winter in St. George
Haven't posted for a while, so thought I'd do an update real quick. This will be mostly via pictures, and will (hopefully soon) post pics from Christmas, as these are all pre-Christmas pictures.
First off - we woke up one morning - after a night of wind storms and all the leaves were on the lawn. Of course the kids had to play in it and had a blast doing so.
Then just a couple days later we had a big snow storm, and again - the kids were so excited and had to play with it. Okay, the adults did too. :)

Charly got to parade around school in the Polar Express - she was SO excited to be able to wear her pajamas to school.
Then we have Mason having a sweet moment where he was just being calm and hanging out on the couch. It was precious and I had to capture that moment. And Porter, had somehow gotten a hold of some brownies (I'm sure handed to him by his brother or sister).
Charly begged forever to go see Santa. We stood in line and the kids were fine - then, the moment of truth. We put Porter on his lap first, he screamed immediately. Neither Charly or Mason would go over to Santa, so we had to lift them and put them on and snap our picture. Funny kids.
Finally, dressed up for church, the Sunday before Christmas - oh so nice!!!

BOYS FOR SALE!!!
BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE . . . . two wild, hyper, very busy boys for sale. They will get into everything you own, destroy your most important papers, unload the dishwasher for you (even when you're trying to load it), sit on each other, write on each other, make forts with ALL your couch cushions and pillows (including those on every bed in the house), make beautiful art work on your walls with crayons, markers, pencils and pens, dump out all your dirty clothes from the hamper, climb on the counters and get into the sweets that you thought you hid so well, and more, much, much more. Warning: a short circuit in their wiring may cause them to wake up several times a night - at different times than the other, to ensure you are up ALL night, and they will most likely come into your bed. You may wake up to this in the morning:
In their waking moments - when you think you can quickly take a couple minutes to maybe make yourself look presentable, so you don't feel like you are SERIOUSLY letting yourself go with the more kids you have, you may come to find this:

Every good once in a while - you will get the sweetest kisses, hugs, cuddles, loves, affectionate moments from either one of them - without any notice given. They will make you laugh, cry, love, fear, worry like you have never done before. They can give you a look, a smile, a smirk, a snort that will make you feel like you are the most important, fun person in the world. They can make you feel so much love. And come to think of it, if I were to sell them, I'd miss out on those sweet moments, even moments like these:

No, I take it back, I want to keep these guys - I guess you can say they play a big part in making me who I am. And besides - they must have felt pity for me last night - neither one ended up in my bed the entire night - don't even think they made a peep. Thanks guys - I love you both (and Charly too.)
Happy Holidays everyone . . . . .
